After spending much of her life as a corporate executive and business owner, Maddie chose to enter the \"real\" world and re-discover her passion for fiction. A love-affair born of intricately crafted absentee notes that later progressed to creative resumes and articles. But it was her almost primal need to connect with people and make them laugh that drove her to write her first novel.

Maddie has lived in Tucson, New York, and Miami and currently resides in Southern California. When not writing, Maddie is traveling, speaking and producing Lit Up!OC a monthly author\'s showcase.
